There were 14 boats that turned out for the Salute the Compass event on the water, which despite some wind and short chop, actually took place! I am sure some drinks were spilled whilst saluting the main points of the Compass, but it went off well enough. 59 members and guests attended the Salute the Compass brunch. I have to commend the skeleton staff at Silva Bay for putting on what I thought was an excellent meal, attractively laid out tables, etc.
